Seeing the Spectrum: LGBTQ Narratives Through the Lens

Join us for a celebration of diversity and creativity at the LGBTQIA+ Photographers Showcase. Throughout the month of June 2024, the Clifton Pleasure Club in Baltimore will be displaying stunning photographs from talented LGBTQIA+ photographers. Don't miss the opening reception on June 6, 2024 from 6-9pm EST, where you can meet the artists and enjoy refreshments. We can't wait to see you there!

Are you a photographer that identifies as LGBTQIA+? We would love to consider your work for our first exhibition. 

The work will be shown in Baltimore but submitting photographers do not have to be from the area. Prints will be created and mounted for the photographers at no cost. Selected work will also be displayed on the LESC website. 

 

Qualifications of work:

- Artist must be 18+ and identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community 

- Images should be cropped and print ready at an 8x10 ratio and 300dpi.

- Subject matter should tell a story or invoke emotion. 

- Artist do not have to be local to the Baltimore area and/or available for opening reception at Clifton Pleasure Club.

- Selected work can be for sale.

- All displayed work will be produced and mounted by Nations Photo Lab at no cost to the Artist.

- Artists can submit up to 5 pieces of work.

- Submitted work will be selected by a committee of selected people by the LESC. 


Selected pieces will be on display at Clifton Pleasure Club (2803 Grindon Ave, Baltimore, MD) during the entire month of June 2024.
